During this time you can show us any concerns or specific requests you may have. We will also identify any pre-existing damage to the areas we will be working on (for example, a scratched window or a ripped screen) before we begin. When we are finished, we will ask you to walk through your property with us one final time to confirm that everything meets your expectations and you're fully satisfied with our work.
Solar Panel Cleaning FAQ
Why do my solar panels need to be cleaned? Your solar panels need to be free from debris and any substances that can block them from properly absorbing sunshine. The main causes of build-up on panels include dirt, dust, bird droppings, pollen, and ash from recent fires. Having your solar panels professionally cleaned ensures they are able to perform as efficiently as possible.
How do I know if my solar panels need to be cleaned or not? If your solar panels are visible from the ground, you will be able to see when they start accumulating a layer of dust. If you track your system through an app, you can look for a slight decline in production over time.
How often should my solar panels be professionally cleaned? Most manufacturers suggest having your solar panels cleaned once every 6 months.
What products will you use to clean my solar panels? We do not use any soap or chemical products to clean your solar panels, as this can void your manufacturer's warranty and cause other problems. Instead, we use a deionized (DI) water filtration system with a long-reach non-abrasive brush that is made specifically for safe use on solar panels. Unlike the water that comes out of your sink or garden hose, our filtration system produces water that evaporates with no chemical deposits or hard water spots left behind. The pressure on our system is set to a specific level to provide a thorough cleaning of your panels without causing any damage.
Window Cleaning FAQ
How often should my windows be professionally cleaned? Most of our clients choose to get their windows cleaned every 4 to 6 months to prevent dirt build-up and/or hard water stains from sitting for too long to be able to remove.
Do you clean both the inside and outside of my windows? We offer both interior and exterior cleaning, depending on your needs.
Do you clean my window tracks or screens? Yes, we offer a full-service cleaning that includes your tracks and screens.
Window Screens FAQ
The metal frame for my window screen is bent. Can you replace the whole thing? Yes, we can build full new frames to replace any that are damaged or missing. Or if your window frame is still intact we can simply replace the screen.
How long will new window screens last? Window screens can last up until 10 years if properly taken care of. Screens that are in direct sunlight throughout most of the day may have a slightly shorter lifespan and show some fading after several years.
Gutter Cleaning FAQ
Why do my gutters need to be professionally cleaned? If your gutters become too full with debris, they can eventually become blocked or clogged and water will be unable to flow properly. This can cause water to pool and overflow, which if not addressed can cause damage to your roof and your home's fascia boards, siding, and stucco over time.
How often should my gutters be professionally cleaned? We suggest having your gutters professionally cleaned once per year, before the start of the winter season. This ensures that your gutters and downspouts are clear and able to perform correctly when it rains.
Pressure Washing FAQ
Will pressure washing cause damage to my property? If done correctly, pressure washing should not cause any damage to your property. Water pressure can be adjusted based on the type of material being cleaned, and different tools and attachments can be used for more vulnerable surfaces.
What areas of my home can you pressure wash? We can safely pressure wash most driveways, patios, decks, exterior walls (including stucco, siding, brick, etc.), and many styles of roofs. Before starting any pressure washing service we will do a walk-through of the property with you to discuss different areas and their respective options.
